Sail GP

Team Spain - Season 3

Jake returned to the land of flying catamarans, this time aboard Team Spain as Grinder and Boat Captain for Season 3 of SailGP.

Artemis Racing

35th America's Cup Challenger

Jake joined the likes of Iain Percy, Nathan Outteridge, Iain Jensen, Paul Goodison and many others with Artemis Racing in 2016 and learnt the ropes of Cup Sailing as a grinder.
After an intensive lead-up to the Cup with a 2-boat sailing program, the Challenger became runner-up in the Louis Vuitton Final with Team New Zealand going on to claim the America's Cup.

Other projects

Jake has spent significant time honing his skills, tuning and tactics for classical style yacht racing. Having raced and campaigned significantly the Finn, Star and Etchells classes, including several seasons on tactics and bow for John Bertrand, as well as steering World Championships in both Etchells and Stars.

Additionally, Jake has continued to develop in the foiling space having refined abilities on both the moth and foil windsurfer as an individual and being involved in both larger and smaller foiling catamaran sailing. This is an exciting field within sailing and Jake is keen to continue competing on the foil at the highest level.

Jake has even been involved with coaching, particularly in the 49er mens and women's classes and with a variety of keelboats, aiming to always bring value to the table for all teams.
